Mokuton theory

So we know wood release involves the use of earth plus water elements. Hashirama is basically the originator of this technique, but tobirama uses water probably can use earth elemental too. As we saw hashirama has a sage mode. So, my theory is that his wood release is the offspring of his senjutsu. Like naruto and his toad fu (or whatever) hashirama was taught the ability to combine the two elements. Just something I thought of.

Yamato has his cells, and just like toad sage jiraiya started looking like a toad. Point is sage mode can affect you on the cellular level.

its possible, but unlikely. I think it is more likely that hashi learned wood release, at the place he learned sage mode.(as it is a forest). When he learned the wood release, it affected his whole body.

The Wood Release is a Kekkei Genkai, not something anyone can just learn by trying it. :y :shrug:
