I want this DLC because I would love to add extra features to my game and it’s free!
.....I find Wood release to be an interesting element that if used correctly, can be very dangerous for an opponent. After looking through the list of techniques and seeing them performed on the actual anime and manga, I would love to be able to perform other powerful elements . Mokuton consist of many techniques that can trap the opponent, distract them, or catch them off guard which fits my fighting style on here perfectly. Along with the powerful offensive techniques and helpful defensive techniques, Mokuton is definitely an element I take a lot of interest in and plan to use a lot once I’ve completed training for the element.

Wood release is strong against a few elements, which is another factor that makes it an impressive element. It is known to be strong against water, earth, and bijuu chakra; being able break apart earth, resist water, and suppress bijuu chakra. Along with strengths comes weaknesses, and wood is no different. The element is weak to lightning which has the power to cut right through wood. Katon , another element performed by shinobi of our world is known to be neutral against wood.. These are the strengths and weaknesses of Wood style.

A basic technique, this jutsu can be used in closed range to hit the opponent with the pole as a melee weapon. If used in combination with taijutsu techniques, this basic technique can actually prove to be quite useful. Swinging the pole to block low level, projectile based earth and water techniques could work as well. The technique doesn’t require no hand seals, which can be considered an advantage. Disadvantages es for one is the technique is basic and doesn’t really pack a punch and can only be performed in short range. An opponent who sees the pole being created can quickly send a lightning technique to destroy it.

Good good. While this is a low rank tech remember that wood can be grown from your body. Say your opponent is out of arms reach you could grow the pole as you swing your fist, this will also catch them off guard. Also if they dodge a puch you could quickly grow the pole from your hand to hit them if they ducked the punch or similar. So, any questions?

This technique requires no hand seals and can reach up to long range. Quickly performed, this technique can be used to start off or in the midst of a combination of jutsus. The technique can also be used as a distraction; while the opponent if focused on evading the technique, the user can set-up another jutsu to use. Four projectiles can be created which is another advantage and the chakra required to perform this technique can be channeled from the ground or hand. Disadvantages are that the technique is projectile based, which to clever opponents makes for an easy counter. The projectiles are small, so a large enough, stronger technique can prevent the projectiles from reaching the target. Depending on the path of projectiles, a decent size sphere of lightning can quickly destroy them or evading them by using a technique to boost yourself into the air.

Well ugm obvious advantages are the technique doesn’t require hand seals and can reach mid-range. The dummy when used, can serve as an aid in battle to strike the opponent. An opponent who doesn’t know how to counter wood may become distracted by the dummy as it attempts to strike them, leaving room for the user to perform a quick jutsu. If you feel like burning a sweat, this dummy can be used to train……yeah. Disadvantages are that when the dummy strikes, barely no damage is dealt to the opponent. The dummy can only perform basic attacks and can easily be destroyed by a lightning technique.

Not too many advantages to list. Technique could be used to trick an opponent or change the wood into a shape they desire. A disadvantage for one is that this technique requires a few hand seals which gives the opposing enemy time to pull off a quicker technique. The technique may take some time to complete also due to the rising of the pillars and covering with chakra, also the wood is easy to detect so an opponent can easily break it apart with a lightning jutsu. It also cost extra chakra each turn the technique is active and doesn’t really serve a huge purpose in battle.
