Yes, we're going to see Naruto using the Mokuton very soon. There have been hints that Kishi has dropped a few times but the foreshadowing was pretty-much cleared when Kishi released the "Color Page" consisting Juubito Level 2 along with pairs of Edo Hashirama-BM Naruto and Edo Madara-EMS Sasuke.
I'll leave a thread of mine [which I had made almost a year ago]of that "
1. Sasuke will get the Rinnegan.
2. Sasuke's Betrayal.
3. Naruto will get the Mokuton.

Alright then, we'll directly go to the manga-scans.
Here we see that Capt. Yamato's Mokuton [which he received by using Hashirama's DNA] is reacting to Naruto's KCM Mode,
Later we saw White Zetsus turning into Trees when Naruto killed them,
Now at first we were lead to believe[all thanks to that bastard Black Zetsu] that the White Zetsu's were created by Shodai Hokage Hashirama's Cells but later we found out that the White Zetsus are nothing but people who once were trapped in the Mugen Tsukuyomi used by Kaguya.
So in reality Hashirama's cells were only used to prolong Madara's life-span and not for the creation of the White Zetsus, so strictly speaking Capt Yamato's Mokuton [Which is Hashirama's] and White Zetsu's Mokuton [Which is Kaguya's] are from two different users and not from Hashirama's DNA!!
Meaning Mokuton from two Different Users reacted the "Same" way when they were in contact with Naruto! And by reacting I mean "Enhancing." Naruto has been enhancing Mokuton by his chakra!!
Now canonically speaking the first person to wield Mokuton is Kaguya and later we thought it was Hashirama[from whom many others achieved the Mokuton but none of them were "Self-Made" users like Hashirama], but is that the reality? Erm No.
The Juubi which is generations older than Hashirama can use the Mokuton,
In-fact Hashirama's Cells were used to gain a firm control over the Juubi by Madara and Obito,
Hagoromo also, after Becoming the Jinchuriki of the Juubi should've been able to use the Mokuton, but let's not get into that.
Here's the real interesting stuff,
Hashirama using the God-Gates as in the Torii Gates which are made up of Mokuton!
Ashura used the Torii Gates when he fought against Indra,
And finally, Naruto can use the Torii Gates as well,
So it's not Hashirama it's Ashura. Let me rephrase that, Ashura and his transmigrants can use the Mokuton! And as Ashura's Current and maybe the Last Transmigrant Naruto will use the Mokuton.
And here's the final piece of the puzzle,
We see as soon as Minato's Edo Tensei ends the dead White Zetsu turned into a Tree! And this time Naruto isn't even in the KCM Mode, heck he doesn't even have the Yang Kurama [He has Yin Kurama] and yet the Zetsu Turned into tree! Meaning the Ashura's Chakra inside of him is awakening!
Remember, Hashirama never used the Mokuton when he was a little Kid, he was shown using it as an Adult. Furthermore if we look at Ashura,
"The powerful chakra bloomed inside of him after harsh training and he awakened chakra rivaling Indra!" Same is happening with Naruto, Ashura's chakra has started to make it's move and soon Naruto will use the Mokuton!
For those who find it Hard to believe that Naruto might get another power-up or don't really believe that Ashura's chakra has just started to make it's move,
Well here's the real deal,
Naruto isn't just Ashura's successor he's also the Child of the Prophecy! And Ashura chose Naruto because he was Child of the Prophecy and not the other way round. Meaning the things we saw so far of Naruto using KCM, BM, BSM or Rikudou Mode were because of his own skill and not because he was Ashura's Successor. I mean look at Minato, he too used KCM and BM or Obito who after getting the Bijjus were able to become Juubito.
Ashura's chakra when fully bloomed [Which I believe is very close] in Naruto will cause him to use the Mokuton.
