Anyways hi Mokuton, also known as wood release is a Kekkai Genkai formed by two components or elements which are Water and Earth. These two elements are essential in real life, as without them, life would not exist as we witness it in the present. Mokuton allows the user to manipulate the nature by utilising the trees and any other aspects of plants and wood in the natural environment. This technique was originally developed by Hashirama Senju of the Senju clan who became a formidable shinobi simply due to this Kekkai Genkai. It's usage allowed him to restrain the Bijuu chakra which is also one of it's key strengths. Madara has been also shown to possess this, although it was through obtaining Hashirama's DNA thus not being natural. This goes for many people in the distant future who have shown to possess it like Obito Uchiha. Wood's strong points like I highlighted earlier consist of Bijuu chakra as we have seen Hashirama restrain Kyuubi's powers very easily using the Wood dragon technique. It also resists water due to it's fairly rigid structure which the water is unable to surpass and lastly it defeats earth due to it being to able to break it apart easily. It's weaknesses lie against Lightning, this being the same reasoning as it is against Earth, which is that it travels straight through like a sharp beam able to break down the rigid structure of Mokuton easily. My favourite Mokuton jutsu is the Wood Dragon technique.
