They are not summons.... they are creations derived from Hashirama's own chakra and created by him. Not summons he gets from a magical place....

I keep hearing this over and over, "Madara got a Kyuubi summon so what, Hashirama has his summons also so the fight was fair"... no they aren't god damn summons.

Hashirama's only summons are the 5 Gates.

Probably due to how Summons appear out of nowhere and how his statues appear out of nowhere. The anime will probably show them being created i suppose.

Its obvious they aren't summons. No blood used during the techniques. They're mokuton based techniques.
