Just wanna put this out there, this is possibly something similar to mokuton but not Mokuton as we know it, its likely going by the technique names a variety of mokuton to do with plant life rather than wood..

Take Lava style for instance, Mei's version the acidic like green goop, Dodai's version of Lava which is where it turns into rubber and then you have Roshi's style which is actual Lava... all of these 3 come under the Yoton tag but are all very very different
