[Suggestion] Mods Decide What Threads Are Right

Hello Everybody,

I have two suggestions that could actually help reduce that number of trolls and troll threads on NB.

1.When someone makes a thread, it will have to be approved or disapproved by a Mod.

2.I suggest that someone should at least have over 500 posts before they make a thread.

Having the Mods approve every thread would put great strain on the limited numbers of Mods that are available due to the size of the community.

The second idea i don't mind, but then again it isn't that hard to gain 500 post.

It's a bad suggestion.
500 posts to create first thread, waaay too much. Completely takes away the point of having "Konnichiwa" section as well if you need to wait 500 posts before you can create a thread.

Also, too, waay too much work for the mods... I mean like 50 threads per day almost.

I like the second idea but the 1st idea would fail. Some mods are hardly online and that would be a ton/ton/ton of work to do.

1. Really really too much work. Nobody wants to do this but it could be like that; You can't make over 2-3 threads in day. or just 1 and Not talking about RP section.

2. 500 is really really huge number. I know some members came here with really really good theories but a " New Member " can't make thread ? it's not right. If you have +500 post, it doesn't mean you are NB mastermind.

Just inplement a system where if the title of your thread is "tobi identity" or some shit it won't post the thread and you cant make a new one for a day.

Mods don't have the time I would guess. To be honest it's glaringly obvious that Nb needs more mods in the first place. Nothing against them, but expecting 3-4 online active mods (at one time) to somehow regulate 500 members (300+ which are probably kids) in the first place is extremely naive. I'm not blaming staff for that, but then again anything that requires more work for the already limited amount of staffers we have is just as naive.

No. Trolling has nothing to do with how many posts someone may or may not have. I enjoy making thought-provoking threads myself and would see it as a slap in the face for me not to have that feature just because I'm not as active as other members and don't have time to make my post count nearly as high.

Well as many people have mentioned... to approve of threads would just increase the job. And well the threads that aren't good will get deleted sooner or later anyway when they get reported.

And 500 posts, that would just create more spam. People would actually have to write everywhere they get the chance to post. I think the current settings we have regarding this 2 suggestions works good enough.
