Look, all I'm saying is I, personally want a housewife if I'm to get married. It doesn't mean I'm forcing her and there is nothing sexist about it. If she's not that type of woman, great. Go find yourself a guy who is willing to make it 50/50 or be a stay at home dad or whatever.

How is it not sexist? You're implying that a woman's place is at home with the children. You kind of are forcing her since the only option is doing what you want or breaking up.

Well, if the woman agrees with you and doesn't want to live a normal life after she got children with you, Yubel, then it's fine, I guess. Saying that it is "impossible" that your wife could have a better-paid job and that you are not "willing to compromise" sounds very very arrogant, to be honest. And yes, I know that my comment wasn't the nicest too. But still.
You know, it's not wrong if you and your wife take turns between the job and raising the child(ren). Dads can be as good parents as moms and the other way around.

If she's a mother than yes, also I want to marry a woman, not a man. There is no need for a second dad here.

He thinks working is only for men, when there are children. Women only have to raise the children, to cook for the family and to fulfill their "duties" in bed, so it seems.

:lmao:

A real woman exhibit feminine qualities, she doesn't like work the way a man does. And if things were kept 50/50, it'd destroy the sexual polarity. Purpose, drive, mission, breaking through barriers etc are what a man naturally does. Love, bonding and connection is something a woman does. Countless studies show that women in general are miserable these days and that comes from taking on masculine roles.

Well I've mentioned that last part in my original comment within the thread. I do believe feminism is equality among sexes, but unfortunately they're an unspoken minority against the "new wave feminists" which preach bigotry.

But if we're talking about reality, studies have shown that a vast majority of women, given the choice, would rather stay home with the child and parent them than having their husband do it and going to work. So I'm not generalizing.
The majority of racial hate towards other races I see is committed by white people. Should I conclude all racist people are white lol? You can't group of people by the ignorant people in that group.

And who were these studies given to? If you are raised to believe you should stay in the house you will. These statistics are biased

The only reason I would ever marry a woman is to have children and if so I expect the mother to do her job raising it, not drop it off at a day care. We don't need extra income from her, I'll provide plenty and I have no problem with her working if she wants to aslong as she's not a mom. If she can't trust me to do my part to help the family then I don't want her, it's that simple.

Have fun living in the 21st century.

Thanks. You show exactly why we need feminism.

Purpose, drive, mission, breaking through barriers, love, bonding and connection... A lot of women have/do all of that. And trust me, we're real *_*

Not denying there are masculine women and feminine men but they're the outliers. The majority of women are naturally feminine but are pressured to be like men by society. While men are pressured to be like women and have to walk on eggshells their whole life aka become pussies.

In a way you can. I'd say everyone's racist to some degree, just like how everyone's biased to a certain degree. There's only a difference in the ranges within that spectrum.

And if you don't know, there are actually "stay at home feminists." So I'd say it's a clear indication of what most women prefer doing. I don't see why it should be considered oppression or offensive if a mother wants to raise her child? We live in a society where they have a choice anyhow.

Also here's the statistics. Gallup is known to be one of the most accurate poll-takers and I'm certain you'd agree that Forbes is reliable as well.

So, sensitive and compassionate people are weak only if they are male? Because those are qualities that only women should have, right? And women don't naturally have goals/ambitions/plans and the commitment/guts to follow through with them.

I disagree *_* I think people naturally have and are able to develop those things.

It's interesting that you say society pressures women to behave like men and vice versa, because I seem to be experiencing the opposite (gender identity/roles/norms etc.). But I guess I can sort of understand what you're getting at... Although I don’t think that is entirely accurate, doing so would still be problematic because we would still be gender-labelling. Instead, I think what is happening now (in some societies) is that people are being encouraged to challenge these gendered expectations and to promote gender-neutrality. Which I think is a good thing =D

Gender neutrality is just code for "I'm insecure about my gender so let's pretend they don't exist". There are some people who honestly think there is no difference between a man and a woman. First you grasp at equality which doesn't exist and then deny gender to somehow justify there being equality. I won't deny that as a man, I'm superior to women in many ways just to make you feel better about your delusions. It doesn't mean I don't respect women or that women aren't better than me at certain things. It's just reality but I don't respect inescure women who curse life because they weren't born with a **** and then try to bring down others so they feel better about themselves.

The only thing I feel uncomfortable about is when people feel shame (and when people shame others) for thinking/feeling/doing something that they think they aren't allowed to think/feel/do because it goes against their gender roles. For example, men who are afraid to cry in front of other people, or who struggle to keep their pain hidden from others because showing, or even experiencing 'weakness' is 'unnatural' and would probably result in ridicule. It does not matter to me whether women/men are feminine/masculine/neither. I am okay with either scenario (not that they need my approval or anything), but it does not seem like you share this sentiment, which makes the concept of insecurity being brought up all the more curious to me...

I'm not asking you to do anything to make me feel better; all I am hoping for is that you would consider re-evaluating some of your beliefs to, perhaps, better yourself and/or those around you. I am not here to force you to do anything (obviously I cannot do that), nor would I even want to be in that position. It is up to you. I just hope you are aware that some of the things you say could actually be hurtful to some people. And no, I am not trying to bring anyone down either :P

Have a nice day (<--no sarcasm there).
