[Suggestion] Moderated Spoiler Tags

Is there a way to add a feature that would essentially work as a Spoiler Tag but can only be opened by the user and moderators?

This would allow for some pretty interesting concepts in the RP, such as variants of battles where jutsu are posted but the opponent is only able to discern the effects by the user's description of the move, or other type of battles where you hide certain information from your opponent while still actually posting it. It is also good to use on Custom Jutsu Threads, not saying for all jutsu, because it's nice to have transparency in the RP, but for some secret group jutsu would be nice, such as village customs.


In essence, the feature would include a clickable button that would only allow a certain list of members to access it, like a restricted spoiler tag. The most basic/default version would be user + mods/admin, but if you can manually allow other members to click the tag would be nice as well.

No, it's about doing things in secret in role playing to have an advantage. It sounds like a pretty cool idea to me.

The idea is to contain stuff in a single thread without requiring branching posts/pm. In terms of battling, for example, moderated spoiler tags would be better than sending a pm to a moderator for each round. It allows us to only having to bother a moderator when an actual problem arises, at which point the moderator simply needs to look at one or two posts, instead of having his/her pm box filled with messages.

It's a good suggestion, but I've never seen anything like it on any other v-bulletin forum, so I doubt there's an available plug-in for it.

It looks that someone would have to create it from scratch. I like the idea though. Sounds revolutionary.
