What the hell? To me that's sounds like

some guy told me exactly who you were despite the fact that you're now wearing a flower draped Haori, an eyepatch and a strawhat which would completely change your description at the end of the 'Winter War'.

Furthermore, if anyone would ask for Shunsui's help, they wouldn't say something like

Help me Shunsui Kyoraku, captain of the 8th Division, wearer of straw hats and pink flower kimonos!

It'd be more like

Help me Shunsui Kyoraku, captain of the 8th Division!

So that still doesn't explain how Mizuiro knew what Shunsui looked like.


This kid is strange + "In the Official Character Book SOULs, a part of his description says 'He has a cute face, but he's actually a ????'. At the moment, Tite Kubo has not said anything about this blanked out word, leaving it unidentified."

So yeah, something is definitely up with him. And I doubt he'd be part of the Vandenreich since one of them (Uryu) is already there. So I'm leaning towards him having something to do with the SK.

Nope. In fact, they were in the real Karakura Town (in SS) whereas Shunsui was in the the Fake one. So that adds more of a mystery.
