Why not just give him cool snake arms like Orochimaru instead of making him into Tsurugu/Reed Richards/Stretch Armstrong?

Orochimaru's personality is what makes him creepy not his snakes. I'm just trying to say that it would make more sense for him to be able to use the snake hand jutsu (or whatever it's called) rather than use some fodder from the chunin exams stretch armstrong tech.

His snakes are what makes his character stand out.

Mitsuki, on the other hand, was an experiment, so it makes sense he can perform techniques like that, which resembles Orochimaru in some aspect as he did call him his child.

Orochimaru can do the same thing. Example: Part 1 fight with Sasuke and Naruto in the Forest of Death during the Chuunin Exams.
