Mitsuki's fate and Orochimaru's purpose

episode 73 brought out that orochimaru's research will be important in the future .
what are your thoughts about orochimaru's purpose & why did he put a curse on mitsuki if the truth comes out ?
i think he is making an artificial otsutsuki or maybe a new sage form because he said that mitsuki is in stage 2
