What do you think happen to where Mitsuki is not present at this moment that his (Mitsuki) Sun (Boruto) is in a death match with what looks like a close friend by the content of Boruto/Kawaki's convo.

Alot had to happen for the village to be the shape it's in.. Do you think Mitsuki is taken out somewhere in the story & the Moon/Sun thing will be done with an play out before this incident with Kawaki?..
& do you think Kawaki is the ending to Boruto's story?..

I ask because Boruto is about war arc Naruto's age while he fights Kawaki, it could be his endgame to the story..

Mitsuki is truly an interesting character. Considering he was born that way, with SM and shit, he's way ahead anyone at the academy.

I wish he had more development, though. I really do hope that they put Boruto to the side a little bit so he can cool down and Mitsuki/Sarada get some development.

Yea he really does which is why it's hard to see him not being somewhere close to his Sun..

Boruto is going to have a burst of power down the line (That's a given) but how is his squad suppose to keep up? An how are they really fitting in his story without much story on them.. (As of now anyway)

I think Anime Mitsuki is stronger than Boruto, and the Manga version is debatable.

Boruto is going to have a burst of power down the line (That's a given) but how is his squad suppose to keep up? An how are they really fitting in his story without much story on them.. (As of now anyway)

Cuz Manga Boruto finally caught up to Mitsuki. His physical prowess and reaction speed has improved, and his versatile like Mitsuki. They both have tons of elemental ninjutsu, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a way for either of them to go head to head.

I think he's Jounin level or above. Based on his performance against Sumire it seems like he wasn't able to beat her easily. And I think Sumire is Chunin level so he should be a bit stronger than her. With sage mode he's definitely super strong
