We all know T was an descendent of Hamura, who's clan made the moon their home, he closely resembles T. He also has clothes and wears them the same way almost. I think there's a strong link between them. Mitsuki is also described as "Clouded In Mysteries".
This also leads me to belive sasuke might notice the difference in him or get suspicious of him and become the team leader to keep an eye on him. But to also bond with his daughter and test bolts strength.
