Mitsuki was nerfed like crazy in an attempt to get Boring-Ru-To to shine and yet he still failed.

Dont you feel it's too bright for a mature anime like naruto? Animation is nice, but it kinda feels not naruto style. No seriousness in it.

Didn’t Ikemoto or someone at SP say something about not wanting to make Boruto’s childhood dark? I don’t think the kind of mature subject matter your lookin for will happen until a time skip or when they are teens/adults.
