According to the viz scan, it would seem that his eyes does not come close to the color of Orochimaru compare to this scan in MS

If anything, it looks like it's more or less the color of Byakugan despite it has some pupil, it's not really clear as it should been so perhaps it could be a fluke. Further more, Mitsuki name means "Full Moon" which almost seem as if he derive from the Ootsutski. Which mean it's likely it's Toneri Son since he's the only Ootsutski and not only that, but Kishi did stated he wanted to bring Toneri back even though he got rejected by the editors.

Kishi might have come to agreement with his editors and make Mitsuki as a replacement instead.

Also the article did stated that this boy is full of "mysterious" and has slight long hair. On top of that, he also wore a Kimono. Everything just keeps adding up here, so he has to be Toneri son and if not, then he's a Hyuga.

Obito was never really talented. When he unlocked the Sharingan/MS sure he became powerful, but he still was not compared to the likes of real Geniuses/Prodigies. Madara himself wished that Sasuke took his place too, which was embarassing XD
