This will be a quick theory persons.
OKay so we know that Mito was this master sealer and the 9 tails host.
We know that he power was coveted by many, and her death or and outside party trying to release the beast would be problematic.
So what if she had an attack like AO up her sleeve, or rather in her hair.
So he know what Mito has two tags carelessly dangling in her hair, but for what purpose?
I think it is safe to assume that Mito stored the beast inside of her forehead seal, and that is where it was located at.
So what if, like Ao, her tags in her hair were to protect the forehead seal.

This is what the technique does, and it would make sense seeing as how she always wore them in her hair, and she passed on Kuruma to the next, instead of her dying letting him roam free, and they were gone when she went to pass on Kuruma to Kushina
When a specific part of the user's body is targeted, this technique is automatically activated. The talismans move to cover the specific body part and form a barrier to protect it.

Sorry, I cannot see how Kyuubi's Chakra Level=3 years worth of Chakra.

Ay was said to have Bijju level chakra, Tsunade greatly outlasted him in battle, mind you she replenished 3 kages chakra, healed them, and served as a battery for Onoki, and still had enogh to maintain a summon, while healing the Kage, while being split in half.

The Yin seal is not something one can put things in.

Mito had seal tags because she was a master in funinjustu.

I bet she had many uses for those seals and for the charkra stored up inside her strength of a hundred seal.

But,kurama was not stored up there.
