minato is kushina's wife so why not teach the seal to the jinchuuriki's husband, and the first hokage was also mito's husband

Kushina is an Uzumaki and was the one who helped Minato create the FTG with her knowledge of Fuuinjutsu, meaning she already excelled in it before Minato did. Being an Uzumaki it's natural you were good in Fuuinjutsu. So your point falls flat. If I were Mito I would've sooner passed on the technique to Kushina first, Minato afterwards or maybe Kushina taught Minato in turn.
