Mito "Help" misconception

There is this whole misconception going on with people, where they say Hashirama NEEDED Mito to get rid of the Kyuubi.

However, the manga states she CHOSE to help her husband out. The 9-tails was already bidden and useless.

So why are people assuming this? Hashirama had tailed beasts like the 8-tails under his control.... without a jinchuriki. Jinchuriki is just a tailed beast weapon. But it is not the only way to "stop" a tailed beast.


Mito wasn't NEEDED.. But it shows that she had bravery and love for her husband so she CHOSE to help her husband out, by sealing the Kyuubi inside herself.

There is a difference between her choosing and her being needed.

And Kushina CHOSE to Help Minato out when he was fighting Kurama.

You would know the point if you had read the thread. Instead of bringing someone like Minato and Kushina.. without Kushina.. Minato's situation would've been drastically different.

Look at UUSJTRUNKS's new thread about Kurama > Hashirama. x-x. And there are many other Hashirama doubters who believe Hashirama needed Mito.

Only a few people think so.Most people have realized by now that Hashirama didn´t need Mito against Kurama.If he could beat Madara+Kyubi then obviously Kyubi alone wouldn´t even stand a chance against Hashirama but since Kurama is immortal and will never be defeated for good they decided to seal it inside a host (in this case Mito).

jinchuriki are needed because neither hashi nor madara can control a tailed beast 24/7

i dont know wheather or not mito really ment what she said because i habent seen the whole fight between madara and hashirama yet

Why is this question even being asked? It's called teamwork. The lessons in the manga over and over again are that it's stupid to do everything all by yourself. Since like chapter 4 or 5. What's the point of getting mad over the semantics of the word "needed"? Of course he needed her help, if just for the sake and spirit of teamwork and working together, and to illustrate that Hashirama and Mito were both great shinobis and a team, that's one way to argue.
