The term fan boy is wildly misinterpreted on the base along with terms such as "Plot hole" and "Plot device"
Fan boys are not people who are bias to a certain character.

Fan Boys;A passionate fan of various elements of geek culture.A person who is completely loyal to a game or company reguardless of if they suck or not.

Note the lack of definition stating it is someone who denies something in the face of clear evidence those people (For a lack of a better term) are stubborn and moronic people.Being a fan boy means your devoted and know everything to know about that subject in this case a character. When your being stubborn or it is apparent that your wrong about something people attribute that person as a fab boy when in reality a true fan boy who really knows the inns and outs of a character like they say they do would admit the limits and powers of the characters their fans of.

Example;Itachi is the god of narutoverse and can beat everyone (This person will sincerely try and explain very poorly why he beast the list of shinobi he has given) This is not a fan boy. This is a moron.

When someone begins to discuss a certain focal point in a characters arsenal and comes up with various ways to use a technique or sheds light on a question about a particular event surrounding the manga that had people drawn down the middle and relays relevant information to the topic at hand that may shift the opinion of the majority of people.(By which i mean) make a thread and have it become popular opinion >>>>That is a fan boy.He used his knowledge of the subject and gave insight.

People should stop confusing idiots with fan boys.
