Greetings From Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man!
Brightest red were all her garments,
Through hell and back nothing could harm it,
But the man’s pain and sorrow and era of green
Left him misunderstood no self esteem
She grew tall and fortune filled her pockets
Through growth and change more fake than honest
But him petty and short pushed and dragged
He learned all of us equal once present passed
Her hair was like the sunshine
Though it was dark maybe a sign
He thought of her as the sunshine of life too
Though he was really just losing my mind
Day by day he gazed upon her
Web by web he swung away
Peasantry always called him
So he was always unable to stay
Day by day he sighed with passion,
He grew ill and angry with every action
So misunderstood it’s a shame to see
What will this man will turn out to be
Day by day his heart within him
Tore and stabbed with the devils venom
Cold and dark he grew to be
But only misunderstood was he really
Grew more hot with love and longing
As days passed by grieving and longing
A knife to take away his sorrow
But the strength and just made him fight till morrow
To bestir himself and woo her
He used his brain to make him richer
As he grew smarter with every tale
The strongest brain just wouldn't sell
Yes, too indolent and easy
He gave up on life itself
For she was all he wanted
Until a hand grabbed his to help
To pursue her and persuade her
He fought with every muscle
From day until dawn came upon him
He kept up his endless tussle
So he only gazed upon her,
Ignored every witch to fly his way
So what if he only gazed upon her
She would no longer brighten his day
Oh he sat and sighed with passion
At what their love could be
He decided that it was time
And all of his friends agreed
For the maiden of the prairie
He was going to move along
So she could keep loving her pity
Misunderstood was no longer wrong
You have stolen the maiden from me
He told the world so it could know
That it won the battle that haunted him
Misunderstood he planned to leave so he could grow
You have laid your hand upon her
He said with anger and tears
You have tricked her with you venom
She’s deserved me throughout these years
You have wooed and won my maiden
You have taken my pride and joy
He turned his back as she gazed upon him
Misunderstood but will never be destroyed
