Misunderstandings in manga. (genjutsu on Jinchuriki)

Do you remember Sasuke's fight with Killer Bee ?
Back then Sasuke tried to cast genjutsu on Bee, but he failed. After that Bee said that genjutsu doesn't work on Jinchuriki.
If that's true then how is it possible for Itachi to cast a genjutsu on Naruto ?
any suggestions ?

Genjutsu doesn't work on Jinchuriki who have mastery over their Bijuu.

The Jinchuriki can use the Chakra of their Bijuu to "shock" their chakra systems and free them from Genjutsu, just like how a partner can inject chakra into someone to free them from a Genjutsu.

At the point of the Naruto vs. Itachi fight, Naruto hadn't mastered his Bijuu, so he couldn't free himself from the Genjutsu with its chakra.

Naruto at the time did not have control over the fox as Bee has.

Well actualy come to think of it, the fox itself would need to "inject" some chakra into Naruto's, but the Kyuubi is not as "friendly" as the Hachibi o.o

Naruto just extracted the Fox's chakra, he does not control the fox.

doubtfull, since sasuke hardly uses any genjutsu, not in his most recent fights, it's more suzano and amateratsu, and good old regular taijutsu.

the difference I think from Bee and naruto is that naruto seems to have torn off the chakra from the will, and it looks like Bee managed to change the will of his biju and make him his friend, over time.
it looks like Bee has been jinchuriki a long time, perhaps at first he did what naruto did and split the chakra from the will, but lateron keept in touch with the biju and made it his friend and gave back the chakra. therefor having both the chakra and the will on his side. and it's the will of the biju that is able to release genjutsu cast on the jinchuriki, not the biju chakra.
naruto also said that he would not harm the fox, perhaps if naruto has years he can change the fox aswell

Yeah he said he will not harm the fox. Even after it killed his mom and dad. There must be a reason kishi made naruto say that. I'd love to wait and see...
I am thinking...we might see a time skip :/

back to topic i agree with bishomasama + i think that Naruto doesnt need the kyuubi's help to cast out genjutsu because he can fuse with ma and pa now(the kyuubi doesnt have its chackra so it cant reject them anymore) and they can free him of any genjutsu so in other words he only needs sage mode.

True he has lots of diffrent chakras, but its the Biju's will that could release him from the genjutsu
