From all other translations I've read, Kisame states that its his third time fighting Guy:

To me, this translation makes more sense. Kishi wouldn't leave something so open ended and not tell us considering someone better at Taijutsu than Guy would be entirely impossible. Keep in mind that a statement like "Seeing someone with *yadda yadda* is a rarity" basically means that person is the best in the Narutoverse with it. How many people can you say have Susanoo? Sasuke Madara and Itachi maybe? Remember that Tobi called that a 'rarity', so there is nothing beyond Guy's level of Taijutsu and likely no one else has achieved it.
I don't want to go too much into this, but remember the mistranslation in 510 about Tobi hunting down paths? Ie him and Hashi being paths 1 and 2 and Nagato being 3? That was obviously a mistranslation and a lot of us were waiting for things to happen that were never going to because there were never '6 paths' just the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sage's of the 6 Paths. I hope ppl get where I'm going with this, but considering we have yet to see a person top Guy's Taijutsu (which again is impossible IMO) than I have to say that there is indeed no one better than him and thus your thread is based on a mistranslation.
This^
Its only a mistranslation.
I Agree with the Bolded.
Actually, I think Kisame was trying to point out the irony of the situation. He calls Guy a rare beast because of the fact that he specializes in Taijutsu. Yet Guy is not really a rare opponent for Kisame seeing as that was their third encounter.
