Mistake in the Anime

Hey Guys i was wondering when i watched Episode 253.
It should be a mistake that Jiraya is able to use Rasengan.

Jiraya was training with Konan,Nagato and Yahiko in the 2 Ninja War.
Minato was fighting as grown up in the 3rd Ninja War, i don´t know how much time passed between those two Wars but Minato should have been a Kid when Jiraya was training those 3.

Also i read in the Manga that after he trained with those Kids he came back to Konoha and thought that Minato was the Kid the Toad Sage was talking about.

So what do you guys think?

While he already Knew that Minato was that Savior

Minato was the savior,even the raikage said this to naruto
it was later passed down to naruto by Minato,Jiraya & Raikge
Nagato was the promise child

Naruto is now the promise child & savior

Okay i´m pretty confused right now, how old was Minato in the second Ninja war? Was he a Jounin back then?

It's a mistake ... when Jiraiya trained Nagato,Konan and Yahiko ... Minato was still in academy thus not yet created Rasengan
Unless theres time travel in the anime version of Naruto, they ****ed up
