Literally meaning "Illusionary Techniques", manipulates the flow of chakra to in victim's brain. Therefore causing a disruption in the victim's senses.

Mist Flame:
the Mist Flame is related to Genjutsu in a way sense they both use illusions. Mist Flames follow the idea of "construction", by focusing mainly on making their illusions more real and solid. If you believe that the illusins are real, they will be physically effective. If not, then they won't harm you. Although, the stronger the caster, the harder it is to doubt the reality of the illusion. They are even able to make fake organs.

During the battle against Momman, it was very hard for Chrome to get Mammon in an illusion. Once Mokuro stepped in, it was harder for Mammon not to resist the illusions. Mammon even began to think that he would actually explode
