Missed Hashirama Hype (before the war)

"To someone who fought the first Hokage we look like kids"... and didn't madara say something about the Gokage being kids when compared to Hashirama?

ummm... yes... it was pretty easy to see.. LoL. I love Hashirama. just thought i'd like to say that. so I did. go me.

also I agree with the others.. the truth is not hype. Hashirama was/is a God among shinobi. even saying that isn't hype, it's true. stuff like that has even come from Madara's mouth. he didn't actually call Hashi a god, but Orochimaru did.. I think.. when he said "it's an honor to receive a compliment from the God of Shinobi.." didn't he say that? when Hashi told Hiruzen "you raised a fine pupil?" those aren't the Exact words, I know, but that is what he said to Hiruzen then Oro said it was an honor cuz hashi was a god, or maybe he said he was considered a god.. but he DID use the word God didn't he? if i'm wrong, it's ok, I'm not gonna take the time to go look at the manga page but ANYWAY Hashi's the mothaf.uckin man ya'll. he's the man

and i'm not even a Hashi fanboy. sure i'm a fan, LoL, but I love how the other characters in the manga revere him, especially Madara. when they were alive, Hashi ALWAYS whooped Madara's ass. LoL. from rock skipping to ass-whoopin to keeping his brother alive to becoming Hokage, Hashi beat Madara at everything, everytime. Madara never won, not even Once. at anything. LoL.

by the way, I Love Madara too. I like him as much as I like Hashi, just for different reasons. and even though i'm a fan of Madara, it's still funny how Hashi ALWAYS whooped his ass and Madara had to steal his power and acquire the Rinnegan just to be a match for him, LoL. so I honestly love both characters, but as warriors, even though they are close to equal, based on past history I still put hashi over madara, until madara actually beats him in a fight.

Only thing is we've already known this, even before kakashi said that everyone knew Madara and Hashi were the strongest, it makes this little tidbit of info so trivial it's not even worth mentioning.

But, even if he was talking about power, this is no big hype.. they were kids.. chouji, naruto, ino, shikimaru ? the only person there relevant was Kakashi who admitted inferiority to people significantly less stronger than the two hyped legends

I'm not sure where you've been but Hashirama was always hyped. The idiots on Narutoforums were speculating about his powers when they learned Tsunade was his grand daughter. And I'm sure the idiots on this forum were hyping Hashirama just because he has his face on a ****ing mountain.

Could be. But he says "do LOOK LIKE kids".. Kakashi in no way looks like a kid. Meaning the statement of the "kids" that was referred to power by Kakuzu before the scan i posted was still in context. Reason i believe this is due to the same thing was said by Madara, who referred to power.

Not really though. Kakashi isn't really that strong though. Zabuza himself claimed that Kakashi was just hype and although Zabuza himself was ultimately killed, he nearly took out Kakashi in their first and second encounter. Kakashi folded the instant he met Orochimaru, he got outjutsued and mindraped by Itachi, he got his ass destroyed by Pain, I could go on. Kakashi is a very good technical fighter for sure but he pales in comparison to people who have power, speed, technique, and stamina, which unfortunately for him has been the vast majority of the people he tangled with. We shouldn't take Zombie Supermans statement to just mean that Hashirama was strong but to also put in perspective the very real fact that Kakashi - when compared to heavy hitters - is relatively weak.

Don't forget there's still a 60 year age gap between Kakashi and Kakuzu. Kakuzu would say Kakashi is like a kid in comparison.
