There has been a bunch of misconceptions about Lord Sasuke, and Lord Sasuke have calleth upon me to set you all straight.
Sasuke always needed help!
Let me start by saying he soloed Naruto a couple times, the main character. And he depends on the Nine-Tails Fox in almost every fight. Nuff said.
Sasuke is useless on the battlefield because only Sage Jutsu work is relative.
Do not forget, this war is far from over. Kakashi and the 5 Kage return would be for nothing if that's the case. And Sasuke is not using his full power. He will have his turn and the Sasuke fanboys will unite to overhype him. Because he is Lord Sasuke.
Naruto is fodder.
That is actually true.
Sasuke cannot make up his mind. Waa.. I want revenge: Kill Itachi, no Elders, no Village, no protect the Village.
Sasuke cannot help that he was lied to. He was only a freakin kid at the time. Still pure and innocence. There were no way in hell could see through those lies. He wanted revenge on the village because he believe that was reason Itachi died. Even then, still had doubt in Tobi's words. Before killing Danzo he wanted to confirm what Tobi said was true. Again, when he met Edo Tensei Itachi because what Tobi and Danzo said was true or not. Sasuke still had doubt in Tobi's words.
Sasuke stated, he knows what Itachi wants for him, but as his brother he can't turn a blind eye what the village did you, him, and his clan. He was believing the village drove Itachi to his death.
After meeting up with Edo Tensei Itachi he realize that Itachi had no regrets about what he done. Itachi even said it "I have no regrets". And still died as Konoha Shinobi. Therefore, leading him to revive the village and get a better understanding of Itachi and why he would go so far for the village.
Although his goal might have chanced, his motivation remained the same.
Sasuke is easily manipulated.
Sasuke never had any intentions on being used by Orochimaru and Tobi.
Sasuke stated he's been studying how to beat Orochimaru during the Uchiha Bros. vs Kabuto.
He told Taka, he wanted to see if the Akatsuki would keep their promise and give him a Tailed-Beast. During he fight with Bee he figured out his MS. Therefore, no longer needing a Tailed Beast. He told told his Team, that they will be ones to use the Akatsuki.
Sasuke is NOT easily manipulated.
Sasuke > Your favorite character.

Bee fodderized Sasuke. Itachi coulda beat Sasuke. Deidara and Danzo killed themselves.
Understand, in a fight that the last man standing is the winner. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda, whatever, it does not apply here. They are dead, and Sasuke is still breathing. Lord Sasuke was the last one standing in those fights. Bee ran away. Itachi died toward the end. The other two idiots were jokes. All these are Lord Sasuke's wins. Deal with it!

I'm just calling Sasuke by the name he was called in the manga. I did not write the manga. You might want to take your concerns to Masashi Kishimoto.

Naruto isn't fit to be Hokage. He doesn't like the fact people die for him or save him. So how will he be able to send Ninja's on mission if he's afraid they might die. That means every team will be required to have a Naruto clone before going on missions. Naruto's plan for peace is nothing more than a fairy tale.
Lord Sasuke has heard the stories of many Ninjas betrayed by the village. He know what must be done. He will erase the past and fix the mess the Hokage made.
