Misconception ..

A lot of people think that Naruto was able to sence Minato before he got to the battlefeild.. well i just want to clear soomething up..

Naruto Was in BM at the time the kages were resurrected.. this means he is able to sence negative emotions now when the kages were revived they hae no negative emotions so they should not have been senced... even if he did sence Minato he should have been able to sence the others aswell

the only way he would have been able to sence the kages is if Naruto was in sage mode.. however i find this might not work either since the juubi's natural chakra would have drowned out any other chakra from far away..

I believe minato getting to the battlefeild and naruto not acting surprised was all simply a type of playful banter..

If u can give me some sort of evidence that i may have forgotten which shows naruto sencing the kages then please do i will then take back what i have said ^^

well Madara has been fighting hashirama time and time again... he has grown used to hashirama's chakra... it is possible that it is thanks to his rinnegan or the Hashirama DNA he already has

True however if we were shown Madara sencing hashi then i also believe Naruto would have been shown sencing someone aswell but im pretty sure he didnt.. i mean who knows but from what we have seen in the chapters i do not believe he was able to sence them

now tell me where it sais that... that is just your opinion with no proof whatsoever...

Sage mode he is able to sence everyones chakra within a certain range...
KCM/BM he is able to sence peoples negative emotions/intentions...

is no way shape or form is he able to sence pretty much everything...

Also since he didnt have a sage mode clone out on the feild there is no way he could have senced them... also the juubi's natural chakra would have flooded naruto's sences.. even if this didnt happen the kages are out of range ..

also with this logic he should be able to sence Sasuke aswell as the 3rd hokage and Karin

So unless YOU have proof don't speak in absolutes.

He is filled with almost entirely of Yan energy which governs vitality A.K.A Life force.
That is why he can sense people INCLUDING negative emotions.

He's an Uzumaki and the Uzumaki are sensors. He is becoming more Uzumaki-like as time goes on. Let's not forget that in part 1, he was able to sense Sakura's thoughts and said exactly what she wanted to hear. That should be an indicator of an ability untapted.

At the end of the day nothing has been confirmed in regards to whether Naruto sensed Minato.

Agreed I thought it was just father/son banter that was made to look super cool for the intro but came across as anti climatic.

However... i guess Naruto could speak with familiarity because he has indeed met his father before and has known that he (Naruto) has always had the 'Two Suns' within him since meeting them (Minato and Kushina).

Whether he sensed him or not, i guess we'll find out next week.

Minato sensed Naruto and Kurama's chakra once he was released and as someone else has said it seems logical that if a sensor senses a sensor nin than the second nin(the sensed one) would be able to return sense the original sensor. Sorry for the round about way of saying it but when Minato sensed Naruto, Naruto probably detected something as well.

i do remember him sencing everything outside however he was in sage mode at the time..
