I don't think it's because their chakra is combined, because when he forcefully took it away from karuma their chakra was not combined. It was only combined when they teamed up.

my theory is that the four element seal is the same one that the sage used except no one had as much yang chakra that he did so it's not exactly the same but when naruto gets kurama's filtered yang chakra it changes into the one the sage had
