I have noticed that a lot of people are under the impression that once under Infinite Tsukuyomi nobody would be aware that they are under the illusion and would go about their lives never knowing its a dream world.
This is not true and here is why:
1. According to Obito and Madara the Dream World brings the dead back to life, now all this does is create illusions of dead loved ones, but the point is if someones dead loved one shows up I think they are going to know something is wrong.
2. It was never said that people would lose their memory or not notice the dream world was in place.
3. So far everyone who is in a Tsukuyomi is generally aware of it, and Infinite Tsukuyomi is just a large scale version of it.
4. In Road to Ninja (Yes I know its non canon but it was written by Kishi), Naruto and Sakura were completely aware they were in a different world.
With all of this, I would note that the Infinite Tsukuyomi is nothing like the Matrix or Inception as people think, its more like the Nexus from Star Trek Generations, were you are aware its not real, you just get what you want most.
