I agree, while also already knowing of this, however, I could over-think this and suggest, more like theorize, that the Sage himself did not fully split the Juubi Soul completely. What edvidence do I have? None, however, I could say the Sage use the, somewhat, Soul of the Juubi to hold the 1-9 Bijuu Chakra. Also, Tobi and Hq notice of Naruto's awkward changed in Aura (or whatever). Tobi has the Chakra of all the Bijuu (excluding the Hachibi and Kyuubi) so Naruto given the Chakra of the remaining Bijuu (excluding Ichibi and Hachibi) is impossible. He must have the partial of thier soul. That is something Tobi does not have.

Im not sure if the kyuubi has regained its chakra 'body' back. This is what i think, if its a mass of chakra and half has been sealed, then it would make sense for it to regain its chakra 'body'back. Saying that minato said he permanently sealed it, therefore im not sure.
i think its highly unlikely that the kyuubi will get its physical form back, because its yin chakra is what creates its form out of nothingness and its yang, what was sealed in naruto is its life force pretty much, its energy to bring life to that form made of yin. its the only reasoning i can see explaining the differences in naruto's km/bm modes from the average jin, because the kyuubi lacks the chakra capacity to physically constitute itself[unless its trying to forcibly take over naruto's body and imo use his yin and hatred as a catalyst to reform itself which weve seen in the pain fight]
my question for you though, is if we can discern that these bijuu, these chakra entities can be sealed in a dying body and dispersed , then reformed given enough time, essentially reconstituting its own chakra , could kurama have regained his full strength during his time spent inside naruto's seal, but only that its completely yang chakra and just his "vitality/energy" well call it
because ive seen many posts claiming that bm was only at half strength when he tanked 5 tbb's combined with one of his own and i find it hard to believe the kurama we saw attack the leaf was twice as powerful as the one we are witnessing currently so whats your take on it since you seem quite knowledgeable
this has been a splinter in my mind since kurama pulled that feat lol, and another point, if kuramas ability to give himself physical form was permanently sealed in the death god, why didnt he immediately go all..transparent like, unless thats just a little plot hole lol
After the latest chapter there has been alot of threads concerning the tailed beasts and ive read most of them. Now from what ive read it seems like people do not understand what the tailed beasts really are.
Alot of people asking questions whether the tailed beasts are physically stronger than the other or whether they have genders xd. Now what people fail to get is that tailed beasts are a mass of chakra/spiritual energy. Ill explain further, using uploaded pages from the manga.
As tobi basically said; the 1 tailed to the 9 tailed are nothing more than beings created by the divided chakra of the 10 tails. Meaning that they are all mass chakra in a form of creatures, but they arent really living breathing creatures but chakra given a form.
Now we know that the sage, extracted the 10 tails chakra (which is made up of 1-9) and buried its body on the moon. This further proofs that out of all the tailed beasts only the 10 tails was a living breathing animal, which had a body. Its chakra is what was sealed in the sage and later split into 9 forms.

Some people might want more evidence, allow me to demonstrate it further.
As i said the tailed beast apart from the 10 tailed are mass of chakra given a form/spirit given a form. Now we know that edo tensei summons the soul of the dead and implants it into a sacrifice and the sacrifice takes the form of the soul that has been summoned.
Now the death god technique was used on both edo Hashirama and Tobirama and in both instances, it basically ripped the soul out of the sacrifice body, now when that happened we saw who the sacrifice's really were;
Sarutobi using the technique on the 1st and 2nd;

Edo Souls has been ripped;

We see who the sacrifices were;

If you notice, only the souls were ripped out of the sacrifices body, whilst nothing really happened to the body apart from the fact that we know who were the sacrifices
Now this same technique was used by Minato on the kyuubi but there was a difference. Minato sealed half of the kyuubi in himself. Since the kyuubi has no body and its infact chakra he sealed half of the kyuubi itself. Now as one of Sarutobi's bodyguards said, the kyuubi shrunk. It shrunk because its a mass of chakra with no body and the partial sealing of it was bound to make it shrink. As minato said himself 'what a heavy chakra'

The reason why i brought the hokage's fight into this thread is because its very important in understand what im trying to say. In the hokages case, their body cannot be sealed because its material. In the kyuubi's case its 'body' can be sealed because it isnt material, it is a mass of chakra/spiritual energy in the form of a fox.
The fact that all the tailed beasts can be sealed into a human being clearly shows that its just a mass of chakra with no real material body. Kushina saying that she will drag the beast with her to her death in order to prevent it from coming back for a while, further proves that it has no body and its just chakra which will eventually regenerate and terrorise the world again over time;

What im trying to say is that, the tailed beasts are just a mass of foul chakra/spiritual energy that belongs to the 10 tailed. They individually have no material body. Im not sure if you guys watch bleach or beyblade or any other anime which depicts spirits as having form, either a human form or an animal form. But this is basically the same as the 1-9 tailed beasts, apart from the 10 tailed who was actually a living breathing animal with a material body. I know some people know all this already, but i feel the need to clarify this misconception

I have one question about beasts and ten-tails, i don't want to create a new thread, i do not know if this was asked before but;
If Tobi got golden and silver brothers and if he captures 8 tails and finishes his collection..then we will have ten-tails, but wouldn't it be incomplete without Kurama? i know those brothers had nine-tails chakra but is it really enough to fully revive tentails?

You guys are so technical with words. Yes, he split up the Juubi chakra but its obvious that he molded that chakra into 9 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ENTITIES. You're telling me that he didnt have the power to give them tangible life with his chakra... but Hashirama can create tangible life from chakra he already has???
