Misconception about powerups

It is common for fans to say that their favorite character will get a powerup. For example Naruto fans will say that Naruto will get more power like the rinnegan. However fans also say that their favorite character is the strongest.
When Naruto and Sasuke fight, they will have to be about equal, otherwise the fight would be anticlimactic and pointless.
If one is more powerful than the other, then the fight would end to easily and have no purpose.
If one of them gets a powerup then he is currently the weaker one, so that he will be equal to his rival after the powerup.
If Naruto will get a powerup , then he is currently weaker than Sasuke
If Sasuke will get a powerup , then he is currently weaker than Naruto
If neither of them get a powerup, then they are equal
If both will get a powerup, then it is hard to know who is the stronger on at the moment.

Second, like I said, that means Naruto will NOT get the rinnegan or any new power

Anyway Naruto getting more power ups makes sense. The other part of the kyuubi's chakra, kyuubi+sm already foreshadowed, whatever he got from the other jinchuuriki and beasts.

I think it is a fact that Naruto can beat Sasuke at this point in time. Tbh, I'm not sure Sasuke will ever be able to beat Naruto now that he has complete harmony with the Kyuubi. But that remains to be seen
