Misconception about fights in narutoverse

Ok i've been seeing so many versus threads where the comments are completely irrational.
What ive seen in versus threads in NB is that everyone who comments immedeately assumes whoevers fighting will immedeately pull out their strongest jutsu and fire away. For example any vs thread with itachi or sasuke in it, the first comments are always either "susanoo wipes the floor' or 'amateratsu ends the fight in a second". But what everybody seems to forget is that all these ninja; itachi, sasuke, nagato, all have other ninjutsu that they wud more likely use before theyd bust out their strongest technique. For example from what we've seen itachi only used susanoo once (when alive, he's only spamming now cuz of Edo), and he had time to prep since sasuke was spending all tht time talking.
Another thing something everyone forgets is the mental compacity of the ninja fighting. Im always hearing all these ridiculously complex ways that the ninja who's fighting will win. Now what everyone forgets is that the ninja may not have tht idea in the heat of battle. For example i've seen someone say that KM Naruto cud beat nagato bcuz he cud always counter chibaku tensei with a rasenshuriken spam. But if you remmember when edo nagato was used chibaku tensei all naruto did was panic and scream.
Now im not saying all these people's complex ideas wudnt work wat im saying is the people fighting may not have the mental campacity to think of those incredibly complex ideas in the heat of battle.
So my final point is please in vs threads stop going straight to the ninja's strongest technique in ur first comment.

well naruto does think of plans in the heat of battle. in versus threads we give variables that affect how a character would think.

knowledge
whether the characters are bloodlusted
location
etc.

depending on the circumstances given, in a bloodlusted state a character would use his deadliest techs right off the bat.

Well something like that is reasonable but what i always see is people in an itachi vs thread immedeatly saying he starts off with amateratsu or susanoo, when itachi is arguably the most level headed person in narutoverse. and it jst drives me nuts

I jst dont want people immedeatly saying nagato wud burst out with Chibaku in the first 4 seconds cuz he wudnt? we only saw it once wen he was alive and that was his last resort

But yeah, using your strongest jutsu isn't the best idea. Have the enemy all worked up till the end then use your trump card.

And that is not an accurate assumption of how the fight wud go. Cuz more likely it wud start off with kunai or some sort of mid level ninjutsu.

You gotta admit, it would be funny to see somebody start a Minato vs. Itachi thread and say one caught the other off balance and killed them from the start with a well thrown Kunai. The flame war that would ensue would be epic :rag:

In the long run, people debate using the essay format to conclude a fitting scenario, it's just that they're not typed out in sequence. I find that typing a scenario while keeping the characters' pros and cons in mind help me figure out the fight better. Plus, always add a tactic or beyond average IQ to the characters.

With sasuke its kinda true since he got Ms he's been starting out with susanoo, here he crushed danzo with his susanoo.
