Sasori's core is living flesh, a brain is not living flesh it is an organ. Organs are a part of our body and cant consciously move without us. Sasori's core can move independently via his chakra (lifeforce). Asking me how he supports the chakra in his core is like asking me how chakra strings for puppets are supported....It just is....
