We can see that Ace has a member of the Long-arm tribe in his crew, there also appears to be a big cat of some sort, a zoan, awakened zoan or maybe just a pet. The most interesting person I noticed was the large man with the triple canon for a left hand. Much like this man:
And we recently saw that these cyborg parts are made in this factory:
Also, on whitebeard's crew there is a commander with similar aesthetics: (on the left)
He looks like he could be a bulked up version of Ace's crew mate. Perhaps he rose through the ranks? It doesn't entirely look like him though, so who knows. There's no real point to these observations, and there's a chance there's no real links, but I just thought it was a brilliant example of Oda's world building prowess.

Not sure how correct this translation is, but whether its 150km or 15km doesn't matter. It's a sphere with a diameter of at least 15km.
The island is found at a depth of 10km. (Note, the bottom of the trench is 10,000m down. The island bubble is not as deep, since it doesn't touch the ocean floor.)
Do the math...lol
