It was so nice to see finally see her, but Mirai Sarutobi was a bit of a let down. I hope we find out she was holding back...
even a genin Konohamaru put some shock into a sage Naruto when he pulled out the Sarutobi arsenal at the chunin exams. Why hasn't her cuz taught her these birthrights? She has shown wind talent with her dad's chakra blades, maybe she could even learn the rasengan. That's the level of opposition I was expecting her to present to those little squirts... but maybe she was supposed to take it easy on the genin...

Well we also have to remember that technically she is part of the new generation. Something that has (thankfully) been addressed in the anime recently is the fact that the new generation simply don't have to strive to become anywhere near as skilled as previous generations as they - currently - live in peacetime. In other words: while Konohamaru was able to pull off some impressive feats at only Genin rank the stakes were also much higher for him (e.g. having to stand off against Pain).
