Rant against those who complain against fillers!
1. The animators can draw what they like. If you don't like what they draw, that is your opinion as the audience, ideally "the animators are talented but this isn't for me", Not "damn them, I don't want them to draw this, I want them to draw and make something else". Also they make filler when they have their best animators working on a movie, so not only is it in your benefit, but complaining that they are making filler while they are working on a movie also comes out as "why aren't they drawing and making anime quicker" which is also not your place.
2. There is very little "milking", much less than people realize. The majority of filler is made for good reasons, most commonly a special, to let the manga run ahead, and if the best staff are busy, e.g. working on a movie. In this case it's the last reason.
3. Even if they are "milking", most animators work around 11 hours a day, for $1-5 a drawing (and for all those naive poeple who think drawings are quick, they're not, they take time), so they earn so little a child would struggle to live off it, and if they have to be called in during the middle of the night to meet the deadline, so be it. Basically paid slave labour. So stop complaining.
4. The filler material is still good art and anime that most people enjoy.
