Mini Rant on dirty people

Before you get any ideas and fill your head with false thoughts, I do maintain good hygiene and have good health habits.

That is understandable, and you should notify them if their smell is bothering you. But in the instance of a small encounter on a bus or train, then you can just ignore them.



I agree, but as I said, if it is just a passing encounter in public or on the train or bus, then there is no need to talk to them.

You are more than right. But thinking of worst case scenarios like being stuck in a elevator or being in a small bus for more than 15 minutes is still distressing. I like you for being so tolerant :x3:

The most repulsive thing I've ever smelt was burned Dymethal Triptamine. It smells like old men had an orgie and that concentrated sweat vaporized.

Thats what i expect just basic self take care. I don't even want you (as in plural people) to smell good thats like a luxury ,not all people can afford perfumes or something along the line like that. I just want you to not smell bad

What if this man had a medical condition that made him smell? Some people have problems to do with the bacteria in their gut that makes them smell all the time regardless of personal hygiene. What if the person has a problem with their immune system or is allergic to water. Its all about education i suppose not that your just ignorant but putting down someone because they smell if they have a genuine condition is they same as making fun of disabled people. That being said in most cases it will be bad hygiene but instead of being a judgmental person why didn't you go and ask the man if hes ok? I say this because i know one of the nicest people ive ever spoken to who smells and its not their fault but a preexisting medical condition, people when their walking by comment just like you and i cant get him to go out and socialize .I suppose thats how the world works irregardless you should exercise caution in making fun of people unless your knowledgeable on what your making fun of.

wow I have not heard about DMT in a long time. But thats pretty crazy you could compare it to an old men orgie. I dont think i would want to know where you nose picked up the scent of and old man orgie. But i am interested about the DMT are you a chemists or pharmaceutical major?

Please read the part when I say i understand special cases Im talking about lazy people . And I'm not making fun of people. Did i ever insult or play with them ? Did you actually make it till the end of the thread ? I swear I ddn't make this thread to make fun of certain people or anyone in general or particular. one time on public transport this construction worker sat next to me and omg.. the smell

i tried to be nice and instead of moving away and possibly hurting his feelings i breathe though my mouth the whole trip

People who need to and are able to shower and use deodorant should. I didn't take this thread as bashing the ones who don't have showers, don't have money for deodorant, have medical reasons that prevent it, or are in a bind for time on a certain day. I think OP is just fed up with olfactory assaults and might have a heightened sense of smell, too.
