Warning : The following thread contains antibacterials, shocking truths and cleanness . Do not attempt to read unless you can handle the truth. Reader's discretion is advised

So I was at my barber yesterday. And while i was cutting my hair he was telling me about people who used styling gel on their heads and came to him like 5 days after with the same gel on their hair. Today i was getting home from my Uni on the bus and I encountered an adult male most likely to his 40-45 wearing a formal shirt that smelled really bad. This inspired me to make this thread. I don't know how to describe this but if i could it would be like someone boiled alcohol, nails and sweat together. Don't people have some self respect or even worse some shame of what other people think ? Why don't you shower ? Ok its your body and I understand there are people who are going to say I do whatever i want with it but in this case you are harming the environment and other people's days. There are people who literally feel like vomiting from bad smells and I'm not using it as a metaphor just like there are people who vomit from the smell of blood. And this makes me thinking on the case of that male with the formal shirt. Most people wear formal shirts to look more classy and better but it if you smell like pure dirtiness you are forgetting the basics. Deodorant or however you call it anti perspirant doesn't make up for it. I can understand not showering in rare occasions like you went on a trip to Africa or really had work and were super busy all week but living in a city with people you should always take some minimal cares. And soap isn't all that expensive.

I didn't do this thread to bash or insult anyone so please understand if you do this you are a nuisance to the community and people you meet.

And please shower :T_T:

The people on this site are the people that go 3 days without showering and deodorant, have you been to an anime convention?
When you don't have the conditions on a specific case it is more than justifiable. I already told that in the thread. I was talking about people who just do this as a preference

Let people be. It is their responsibility to maintain good hygienic practice.
Totally agree dude . I absolutely respect that. But you ( as in plural people) don't have to ruin a person's day for being lazy to spend a 10 min in yourself. There is a limit . Not expecting to be cleanness freaks. Just basic citizen things.

What part of 'let them be' do you find so hard to understand? Tolerance is something that will help you a lot in life.
Getting a little defensive eh? Wonder why

If you smell like complete shit, and sit next to me every day in class I'm going to let you know about it. I'm not going to "Let them be" if it affects me

Deal with it, brah. I help homeless people every week and have to deal with these type of things. They smell like sh*t but I don't complain about it.

Please look up the part I said that on special conditions is justifiable. You don't have a home ofcourse you don't have the mind to take care into yourself . You are in the middle of 4 streets you have bigger problems than that. I meant about people who do it because they are lazy

I'm guessing you include yourself in that remark? Because believe it or not, not every person is like that.

Besides, many people including me have never been to an anime convention because outside of Naruto, a lot don't watch/read anything besides Naruto.

Being homeless isn't an excuse for poor hygiene.

I know somebody who used to be homeless but they still sought to be as clean as possible.

Before you get any ideas and fill your head with false thoughts, I do maintain good hygiene and have good health habits.

That is understandable, and you should notify them if their smell is bothering you. But in the instance of a small encounter on a bus or train, then you can just ignore them.

Totally agree dude . I absolutely respect that. But you ( as in plural people) don't have to ruin a person's day for being lazy to spend a 10 min in yourself. There is a limit . Not expecting to be cleanness freaks. Just basic citizen things.
I agree, but as I said, if it is just a passing encounter in public or on the train or bus, then there is no need to talk to them.

Still, both scenarios have the same outcome. Just let it be, man. I don't see the need to complain over such a tiny incident that rarely happens in your life.
