While the manga was geared toward friendship, the theme in The Last: Naruto the Movie will be about love.Kishimoto-sensei explains the idea was originally from the anime producers. He himself was unable to write about love in the manga, it was something he avoided due to feelings of embarrassment, so he felt this could go well as a movie theme to further show Naruto’s growth. The script for the movie was not written exclusively by Kishimoto-sensei, rather he was given a script so that he could recommend changes to properly flesh out the story and set the mood.

So basically SP forced NaruHina?

He is kind of right though, you yourself said that the movie wasn't even Kishi's idea.

Therefore its easy to assume Kishi valued SS more in his actual manga.
Regarding the "pure pairing" comment that was only comparing NaruHina and SaiIno, SasuSaku was not mentioned, I think the reason they kept it out is because it would steal some spotlight from NH and SP can't have that.

Lol are you still on about this? It proves nothing of the sort. More than likely he has a little scene planned just like SakuSasu but scrapped it because of the movie having a time skip.

This movie was made two years ago, Hamura is in this movie, as far as I know Hamura was shown like year ago, soooo basically kishi had this planned all along, I mean how did studio found about hamura, unless kishi told them about it

also i agree kishi has zero way of making romance, so what if he got helped from anime ppl, to be honest kishi sucks at romance

also if anime ppl did help than why didnt they make SS have development since SS is the best pairing in the whole manga???

Its because they had no idea that SS was a thing.One of the SP blogs confirmed that the directors only knew about NH and not SS.Its the reason why Sasuke and Sakura dont even meet in this movie Lol
