powerups are a part of battle manga, that's just how it is, call it adrenaline rush, call it will, call it whatever ...

but it rarely used to bother anyone and than Fairy Tail happened and now you see complaining over it all the time

personally it doesn't bother me one bit, I actually like how Luffy overcame Lucci when he saw Usopp, it's one of my all time favorite OP moments

Actually Trebol was great this chapter. He was 100% confident Doflamingo will come, so he played the helpless guy to make Law approach him and trap him so that Dofla could hurt him. It was a great teamwórk to see
