Trust in The Crutch.

First I would like you to tell me everything you know about Genjutsu; its uses, how it can be broken, how it works... basically anything related the Genjutsu on this site's RP. Then I will elaborate upon what you describe and share my opinions.

Genjutsu means Illusionary Arts. Just like Ninjutsu Genjutsu requires hand-seals and chakra, the only difference is that Genjutsu doesn't cast real damage to the opponent's body, it casts an illusion that puts the opponent in a state of mind where he gets fooled by anything the Genjutsu user chooses and damages his brain.
There are two kinds of Genjutsu, the passive one and the active. The passive type casts illusion to the opponent's senses but we can cancel it using logic evidences and pain.
Within the active type there exists three types: Dojutsu and Normal Genjutsu and Sound Jutsu.
Genjutsu works by disturbing the opponent's chakra flow so he loses control over his senses and starts believing everything you cast on him (Pain and visions....)
Genjutsu can be countered using Pain and Kai.
Those were my thoughts about Genjutsu, but Scorps explained it well in this

It was more of a regurgitation of other words into your words. Just tell me what you think Genjutsu is on a more broad level. The point is to work from the broad to the specific.

It works by disturbing the enemy's chakra flow and making him lose control over it, thus he loses control over his senses and starts believe everything you cast on him.

I can't let you pass with these one sentence, two sentence answers. Just tell me everything you know about Genjutsu. Just start typing and finish typing, don't look at other stuff for info.

Genjutsu is a power or a style that bothers the enemy's chakra and casts an illusion on the his brain and senses, Genjutsu is just like magic it puts the opponent in a world of fantasy that is created by the genjutsu user, while the enemy is in this state he loses control over his senses so he loses the ability to see through the illusion and see his true enemy or his location. As i said when we put the enemy in that illusion we can make him see things that only the Genjutsu user decides so for example if a Shuriken hit him in the Genjutsu his mind believes that the shuriken was real so the body reacts with pain since the enemy has lost control over his senses, so he believes anything and everything you want him to believe. And while he's trapped inside the illusion you can take advantage of that and attack his real body in the real world.

Yes, what you said is correct. Genjutsu is similar to Ninjutsu because it requries chakra like all techniques, but it is different because unlike Ninjutsu there is no physical manifestation of chakra. The chakra doesn't actually turn into a physical attack. Genjutsu attacks the opponent's mind. It affects the prosencephalon structure of the brain. The most important thing to remember about this section of the brain is that it controls emotions. Remember the Genjutsu cannot be used to force an opponent to do an exact action unless it is high level such as MS or EMS, or other really powerful Genjutsu. Common Genjutsu simply provide the opponent's mind with a proper situation in which the user inserts a certain basic response to the situation that is to the user's advantage. Those with sensing abilities or eye techniques (to the appropriate strength) can see and feel the differences in what is in their mind and what is actually happening.

Genjutsu is produced by inserting the user's chakra into the opponent's brain. The user manipulates his chakra in the opponent's Chakra Circulatory System in the opponent's brain to manipulate the opponent's senses to make the opponent see, hear, or even feel what the user wants them to.

Tell me the ways you can combat Genjutsu if you are caught in it. Describe the process of what you would think about when you may believe you are affect.

That's harsh xD
To combat Genjutsu, i need to discover that i'm actually trapped in it, to i should use logic evidences and notice odd things that changed, i mean i can't be in a grassy field and find myself in a mansion or a prison of mirrors just like that, the other thing is noticing the hand-seals, if the enemy used some hand-seals and then after executing the jutsu i found myself in a bizarre place, or something odd happened like seeing dead people... I should definitely notice and know for sure that i'm trapped in a Ganjutsu.
Now i need to get out of the Genjutsu, and to do that i'll use pain, like stabbing myself, injuring myself or burning myself using a fire technique.

I think after discovering that he's under a genjutsu, the user performs one hand-seal and spends the same amount of chakra used in the Genjutsu to release it, so if you're under an S-Rank Genjutsu you'll have to use an S-Rank Release technique.
That's all i know.

One more thing, Ganjutsu doesn't work on Jinchurikies because breaking Genjutsu requires having a partner, so since two creatures live in the same body, one of them wakes his partner up from Gen.

The first explanation is wrong.
The second explanation is also wrong (not entirely, but living in the same body isn't the exact reason).

Try to explain once more, if you don't get it, then I'll explain why.
