Please give me a short definition of Genjutsu, and it's applicability.

 

[Merita]

- Genjutsu is a type of techniques, that, like Ninjutsu, needs chakra and hand seals (most of them). It attacks the opponent's chakra in the brain, causing kind of disruption in the opponent's senses, thus creating illusions.

- They can make the opponent see false images (making it useful to escapes or distractions) or cause trauma (very useful in battle).
