I love all the different categories of speed (base speed, raw speed, speed due to jutsu etc.) but the simple fact is that speed is equal to the amount of distance traveled over time. However one decides to travel that distance is their business but at the end of the day the fact remains the more distance a person can travel in the smallest amount of time possible is equal to their speed. It's trivial to argue otherwise or to bring all these pointless arguments up about true speed or whatever.
