Naruto's SM was awesome, I hated the fact that Minato had exactly the same style as Naruto. Like his SM could have been a bit different but as always Naruto is the true SM king.

Minato himself admitted that his SM sucks and he can't maintain it for long. So you really didn't need to bother saying it. Though it's still pretty impressive that he was able to enter SM that fast and has Perfect SM unlike Jiraiya.

Jiraiya also said he was poor at senjutsu, yet we aren't making threads on him now are we. And it is visibly clear just by comparing Jiraya and Minatos sm who the inferior sage is. The imperfect sage with toad like features vs the one who possesses the markings of a true sage and can perfectly balance the sage chakra with his own chakra.

The fact that he has Perfect Sage Mode markings means he can mix the Senjutsu chakra with his own perfectly, so since he can't maintain it, that indicates that his chakra pool is not large enough, which means fusing with Fukasaku and Shima would do nothing.

Jiraiya = Chakra Pool but no Control
Minato = Control but no Chakra Pool

Yeah, you're right. He trained to balance natural energy with his chakra perfectly to enter Perfect SM (Minato is a genius) but he didn't actually master SM's power completely and had inferior usage to Naruto despite having the same PSM. And since he doesn't have the body capacity like Naruto, that affected his retaining of SM.

Minato never trained as much as Naruto with SM, he never fought with it cause it wasn't his style. He was more of silent swift kill which he already mastered with hiraishin so SM was pretty much useless for him. If he summoned ma and pa to keep him in SM he would wreck most shinobi.

Whether that is 2 minutes or 5 minutes, it doesn't matter. Who told you minato doesn't have the chakra pool, that's garbage. Unless you possess "enormous chakra", you cannot draw in nature energy. It's nothing to do with his chakra, it's just lack of practice. Naruto trained to extend his sm, it was only 5 mins at first. Meanwhile Jiraha with sage toads lasted way longer than 5 mins. So you are saying Jiraya has more chakra than Naruto since he can make it or longer, .

Amphibian technique maintains combat readiness. Roles are divided, the toads gather the nature energy while the other can move. The toads maintain sm, not minato.
