Soo, many people here claimed about minato having sage mode... they say, its an asspull..

BUT

minato wasnt able to use sage mode, because he was in kyubi chakra mode!

Naruto was able to perform both, because his half of the kyuubi allowed it and he already tried to do it.

Minato wasnt really familiar with kyubi mode, so he either was yble to use kyuubi mode or sennin mode!

Since minato got the kyubi exttacted, he usdd sennin mode as a power up.

Kyubi mode is stronger, thats why naruto was always using it instead of sennin mode...



So, with kyubi inside, mjnato was unable to perform sennin mode, now, without kyubi he is again able to perform it. Its not an asspull!


But i still have no explynation why he hasnt used it against masked man 16 years ago... maybe he hadnt the time to charge chakra or it was to hectic...

Why didn't Minato use Sennin Modo when fighting The Masked Man during the Kyubi attack on Konoha 16 years ago? and why didn't The toad guy who taught naruto Sage mode bring it up? they spent time talking about Jiraiya's sage mode why didn't he mention the fact that Naruto's father the 4th freaking Hokage also knows perfect sage mode? the only possible explanation is that Minato has been training in Other World with King Kai... or it's just an asspull

Anyways, here's something you can chew on for a bit.

Why not just turn KM off? People using this as a defense is the WORST of them all because it shows lack of thought. All Minato had to do was turn KM off and start absorbing natural energy and enter SM, it isn't that hard. The fact that a lot of people are using this as an excuse for Minato not using it at all during the war and suddenly now is pathetic in my opinion. There was no reason that he couldn't stop using the KM and switch to SM. The other half of Kurama in him would not have stopped him from absorbing chakara and he could have enter SM a LONG time ago, not just now.

The reason its an ass-pull is because there was no continuity to which Kishi introduced this.

2. Why didn't the toad guy tell Naruto about Minato? At that time it was not revealed to Naruto that Minato was his dad. It was supposed to be a huge secret. Minato had been dead 16 years and was not relevant. Jiraiya was training Naruto, so he was mentioned.

If you don't like any of my answers that is fine. We may very well get answers in the next chapter, but I wouldn't count on it. To me it is not a stretch at all the Minato learned sage mode since he was Jiraiya's student.

Instead of fighting against what is happening in the manga, why not just accept it? If you can't accept it, then you know what you need to do.

Pa could have done the same thing and stated the 4th Hokage trained here too since he was Jiraya's student and Naruto knew that. He never had to say specifically that Minato was his father and could have just said 4th Hokage.

The fact is that Kishi barely foreshadowed it, could have used this mode for Minato many chapters ago and then suddenly uses it and goes against some of the rules he already placed about SM and who could use it just to give Minato something to do while he got his own ass thrown around and back at Kakashi.
