Naruto is 16, so Minato died 16 years ago. Minato wasn't the Hokage during Kakashi Gaiden because the Konoha soldiers would have called him by his proper title. So Minato was only Hokage for a few months to a year

You do you know what "prime" means?

Let me break it down. You prime is where you are at the highest point of your strength. When you reach your prime you can only go downhill. There is no getting stronger because it's your prime. Minato was 26 when he died. Jiraiya said that if minato had lived longer he would have indeed been the savior of the world and probably the strongest ninja in history. He said this to tsunade before heading out to face pain.

It couldnt have been a few months to a year since since it took 10 months for naruto to have been born,and minato's birthday is janurany 25 and naruto's is october 10 so he would be to years older from the kakashi gaiden

He can still grow big time,he may have reach his prime on the age but his potential and strength growth hasn't reach the prime. Ppl that reach their prime are ppl that can't grow any more or their growth is insignificant.

His speed and reflexes without FTG equal A's with his lighting armor his rasengun is powerful enough to stop kakashi's lighting blade and possibly take some of his fingers he's strongg enough to cut through half of hachibi's tail and is extremly good a summoning justu to do the food kart destroyer justu..so can yu tell me how can he have big time growth and he's a near prefect shonobi

itachi skill actually decreases with his age, seeing as he was getting sicker and his vision was deteriorating when using ms

anyway, minato was around 26-27 at his time of death, and the fact that he still had to pair rasengan with his nature element means that he did not reach his prime before he died. and look how much kakashi improved between 26 and 29, h e vastly improved his chakra capacity, learned a handful of great techniques, became faster. a shinobi's prime is right before their chakra levels start to fall with age in most cases.

Who said 21-35 is your prime? What if you learn new techniques after that?

21-35 is when your body is at its peak after 35 your body slowly starts to lose charka levels and as the years go on they get lower if he was a senju or uzumaki or was known to have sage mode I would say he would have more time in his prime

i think minato was far from his prime cause he never combined the rasengan with his nature chakra

Minato was creating a justu it to 3years for him to make it he didnt seem to use shadow clones so I guess he was in a trail and fail with that during his life

Itachi gained EMS when Suisui died, BEFORE he joined Akatsuki. The night of the Uchiha incident I'm sure he tested out those eyes ALOT. Which would have resulted in the deterioration of his eyes, thus only quickness the sickening process. He was dying VERY early on and used medicine to bring him as far as he went. Itachi hasn't been in his prime for AWHILE.

It might just be me, but Ive always had the impression that shinobi around the age of 40 are in their prime. They still have a strong body, mixed with experience and lots of training they are probably at the height of their powers.
