Minato's Positon

I just got done re-watching the scene where minato and kushina made their sacrafice. It was such a sad moment. What do you think of that episode? and what would you have done in minato's shoes? i think he made the right decision.

It was pretty sad, but not as hard-hitting as Jiraiya's death was.

It was probably the best decision they could have made; the two would have died regardless of what they did. At least they could entrust Naruto with Kurama (which has made him one of the most powerful characters as of yet), and they were able to speak with him at some point.

Dont tell me i m stupid, but i didnt really understand why Kushina couldnt seal the 9tails back into herself. Is it because she was going to die anyway so if she sealed it again there wouldnt have been a jinchuuriki in konoha?

Minato technically didn't have to die..he sacrificed himself..so he couldve lived with naruto growing up

She was too physically weak to force the Kyuubi back into her.
Plus, she was only able to survive for a short period of time after the extraction as she was an Uzumaki. She would have died anyway within a few hours.

If their was more options then he would have made it. Unfortunately their was none. So, I would have done the same. However, many claimed/assumed that he had a choice of using other Fuuinjutsu, but way did he not use it? Plot has no say in this, just like many other things that people blamed it on.

True, but I don't think Minato would have been able to deal with the Kyuubi by other means without self-sacrifice. He needed to use the Reaper Death Seal because Kurama was too powerful; even with half of its chakra, it was still formidable.
Plus, it would have been hard to cope since Kushina would be dead. xd
