has we all know minato and itachi are awesome ninja (minato more than itachi) but this is not a vs thread so let me explain:

most of itachi's plans in naruto have never worked out how he wanted and he even failed to save his brother who he loves so much as for minato who saved the hidden leaf from tobi and the nine tails and made a big plan for his son for the future and believed that his choice would save the hidden leaf in the future now naruto is proof that minato intelligence > itachi's.

really ? Minato saved the day sixteen years ago bro
Who saved naruto from nagato was it minato ? No did he stop edo tensei ? No
did he seal orochimaru ? No itachi had impacted past events and future events just as minato has the only thing is itachi continues to do so


and the intelligence thing ? idk remember the chapter where itachi and minato
took a test to prove who was smarter and the fact that you are trying to determine his 'higher' intellect because he made a on the spot decision way back vs. itachi who meticulously plans everything he does is laughable shows how smart you are yourself

Actually itachi's plan never failed. Remember His plan was to cast a genjutsu over sasuke, which would have made him protect the leaf. He felt that since he was in edo. He be able to help more by casting it over himself and going to to stop kabuto's Jutsu. honestly a itachi and nagatoedo would be way worse than a evil sasuke. Itachi technically saved the leaf as well giving he killed his clan. Because the were planning a attack on the leaf. You shouldn't insult a characters intelligence based on how successful they've been. That's like saying shikamaru's intellengance is low because he failed the sasuke retrieval mission.
