Minato's FTG

Okay people always say Minato can't win certain fights because people can just destroy his kunai..But keep in mind they are special kunai because there is a SPECIAL SEAL/FORMULA on them...That seal can be placed anywhere, like in Kushina's seal or on Tobi, for example. So if indeed Minato's kunai were destroyed on the battlefield by lets say, Ametarasu, he could just place the seal on the ground while running, as we saw that he can form it extremely quickly (like when he put it on kakashi during the bell test). So just cause Minato's kunai might be destroyed doesn't mean that he's just screwed and can't win the battle!

It's easier to throw a Kunai and would be faster to get where ever you're trying to reach though.

Ehh somewhat. The main flaw to this is the obvious point that he can't throw his seals, making teleporting much less effective since it's only a small distance. It might work against some opponents, but intelligent ones with the right tools can probably overcome it.

I agree but I was trying to prove that if his kunai got destroyed, he still has other means to use FTG effectively.

Honestly i believe Minato doesn't even need the Kunais... He can mark specific areas surrounding the battle field with the FTG seal...He just uses the Kunais to speed up the killing process. IMO.

I doubt ametarasu could just destroy the seals on the ground if he did, and he would have seals around the opponent, so they would have to ametarasu everything around them effectively surrounding himself/herself with ametarasu, and think about how much eye power you would need to put it out? You would probably go blind without EMS. If you did have EMS it would still be a difficult task and how long can you sustain such a large amount of ametarasu?

It depends cause if he's facing an opponent with a huge attack than short-range seals may not give him the distance he needs to escape them (eg. Gaara's Sand Tsunami in the desert or something). I don't think it really matters though since he has a crap-load of FTG kunai available and can probably just summon more if needed.

Space time barrier or a high level fire seal that jiraiya used, or throw a kunai into the air and teleport to it then throw it higher then teleport, so on and so forth.

I doubt ametarasu could just destroy the seals on the ground if he did, and he would have seals around the opponent, so they would have to ametarasu everything around them effectively surrounding himself/herself with ametarasu, and think about how much eye power you would need to put it out? You would probably go blind without EMS. If you did have EMS it would still be a difficult task and how long can you sustain such a large amount of ametarasu?

When I read stuff like this I assume the person is talking about edo madara.

haha, SUMMON: FTG KUNAI! But agreed, and who said the seals are short range? He put them in Kushina's seal so he could go to her aid at anytime.

Minato's FTG isn't restricted to short distances...

I'm talking about having to physically touch the ground by him instead of being able to toss several pre-made FTG kunai at different distances in different directions. It's a substitute for kunai but at the same time he loses versatility on where he wants to teleport in this case.

i think if a shinobi sees minito placing seals everywhere he or she would just leave that battlefield to a area that is free of seals
